The Greater Toledo Obedience Training Club is located in Toledo, Ohio.

We are a group of enthusiastic individuals who love to show our dogs. On any given day of the week you will find one or more of us out training dogs and on any given weekend there will be at least one of us showing in Obedience, Agility, Herding, Field, or some kind of dog related event.

As a club, we put on agility trials three weekends a year and obedience trials one weekend a year. We have six meetings a year and are always happy to have new people join us.

The annual banquet will be on Friday, February 9th from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the Epic Buffet in the Hollywood Casino (1968 Miami Street, Toledo OH). There will be a general membership meeting and a reverse raffle. Dinner is N/C for club members (alcohol not included).

Please RSVP to Barb Bumcrots by January 29th

Greater Toledo Obedience Training Club donates $1,100 to Houston SPCA for Hurricane Harvey relief

During our meeting prior to our September 2017 agility trials, GTOTC members discussed the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey. Instead of just donating a set amount, we decided to donate $1 per Q earned over the course of our 3 day trial weekend and also have a donation jar available so exhibitors could add their own donations. We wanted to help dogs and their owners and decided to make our donation to the Houston SPCA. During each briefing, we told exhibitors what we were doing and reported on how the donation total was progressing. Everyone always greeted this announcement with enthusiasm. The judges also joined in with matching donations. David Nauer donated $1 per Q earned in his ring on Saturday. Susan Stephon donated $1 per Q earned in her ring on Sunday. Exhibitors were very generous with their donations, including one who gave back an entry refund amount and another who helped round up our total. At the end of the trial, because of the generosity of our members, our exhibitors and our judges, we ended up with a grand total of $1,100 to donate to the Houston SPCA!
